Uninstalling and Reinstalling Plugins

Sometimes you may need to uninstall and reinstall a plugin due to an update, troubleshooting, or system changes. Follow this guide to manage your plugins effectively.


Uninstalling Plugins

  1. Log into your STACKS account on STACKS' homepage.
  2. Go to "My Stack."
  3. Find the plugin you want to uninstall.
  4. Click the three dots next to the product and select "Uninstall."

Reinstalling Plugins

  1. Find the plugin you want to reinstall in My Stack.
  2. Click "Install" next to the plugin name.
  3. Follow any prompts to select the appropriate format (VST, AU, AAX, or Standalone) and complete the installation.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Installation Not Working: Ensure you have the correct permissions and that your antivirus software isn’t blocking the installer.
  • Plugin Not Showing in DAW: You may need to close and reopen your DAW, or re-scan plugins.
