Managing Software Licenses and Transfer Policies
If you need to transfer your software licenses to a different STACKS account, follow the steps below to manage your licenses effectively.
How to Transfer a License to a New Account
Create a New STACKS Account:
If you haven’t done so yet, create a new STACKS account using the email address you’d like to transfer your licenses to.
Contact Support:
Send an email to support@stacks.audio from both your current email address and your new email address. Include the following details:
- The email addresses of both accounts.
- The product(s) you want to transfer.
Verification and Processing:
Once we verify your request, we will transfer the licenses to your new account.
What to Do if You Don’t Have Access to Your Old Account
If you no longer have access to your old account, we may still be able to help:
Provide Proof of Identity:
Email support@stacks.audio from your new email address. Include any proof of identity that confirms ownership of the old account, such as:
- Purchase receipts.
- Payment confirmation details.
- Other identifying information.
Verification:
Once your identity is verified, we will assist you in recovering or transferring your licenses.
License Transfer Policies
Eligibility:
License transfers are subject to approval and may not be available for all products.
Developer Policies:
Some developers may have specific rules about transferring licenses. Check the developer’s profile on STACKS for additional details or reach out via their "Support" link.
