What to Do if Some of Your Plugins Aren’t Installed (Apple Silicon Users)
If you’re using an Apple Silicon Mac, certain plugins may not install correctly unless Rosetta is installed. Rosetta allows Apple Silicon Macs to run software designed for Intel processors, which includes many of the plugins in our store.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Install Rosetta
- Open a new Terminal window on your Mac.
- Enter the following command:
/usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta
- Press Enter and follow the prompts in Terminal to complete the installation.
Step 2: Install Your Plugins
- Once Rosetta is successfully installed, log into your STACKS account.
- Go to "My Stack" and find the plugins that were not installed.
- Click "Install" next to each plugin and follow the prompts.
Note: If you'd already tried installing, you can open the Manage page via the three dot menu, and click the download arrow for the plugin types you need to re-download.
